The MoFo Game Server is back online after quite a bit of finaggaling(sp?). The Tribes 2 servers are coming back up as we speak and the teamspeak server is already back online. We appreciate everyone's patience during this time and apologize for the downtime.
Now, to the good stuff. I was going to setup a BF2142 server although it won't be ranked. Is there interest in competing in this game? Do we have enough? Let me know and I'll make it happen!
Server details:
- IP: 70.86.223.98-102

The MoFo Teamspeak server is back online. Yes this means we have our new server up and running. It will take us a bit to get everything configured so please be patient. Here are the pertinent details for connecting.

None of the configurations or channels are setup and everyone will need to re-register. Sorry about any inconvenience this causes but we can all blame the server company for this. |

To follow (in a later post) will be details of our plans to introduce a server to immediately address the needs of the T2 Community and this Clan's requirement for a MoFo TeamSpeak server.
We will be providing access to both in the coming days, the details of which will be announced as soon as possible.
We apologise for the downtime, unreservedly.
After some consultation regarding the next "MoFo Thing" we have decided to first examine the interest in BattleField 2142 and, upon further review, proceed determinate upon its success at commandeering our attention.
Further communication regarding this matter will be divulged as it becomes available.

Nintendo today announced that the broadband-centered Wii gaming console will be released on November 19 for $249.99. Four million units will be available worldwide at launch, but the United States will be getting the biggest shipment. 30 Games will be available in the Wii launch window (a month or two after release), with half of those available at launch (Wii Sports is included). As we've discussed, users will be able to download games from Nintendo's back catalog via broadband. (0) |

Voodoo Extreme Prey Screenshots and Demo Download
I'm pretty surprised that nobody has mentioned this one yet. Prey has been yet another "is it vapourware or is it real" games that has been talked about for years. Finally the demo has been released.
I haven't even played through the whole demo yet, and I know that I'm buying this game. It's just that good. From the beginning it just feels different from other first-person shooters out there. For one, it's not set in WWII. Secondly, well, I don't want to go into specifics, but the storyline looks like it is going to rock. Come on, when you mix Native American Indians and alien abduction, how can you go wrong? Ooops.. Kindof let that slip there.. :P
It's based on the Doom3 engine, but it runs quite a bit better. The graphics are pretty jaw dropping. One cool addition to the engine are portals. These are windows and doorways to other areas/dimensions that can open up, spilling out bad guys, or offer you ways past certain areas. They're very well implemented. Another cool feature is gravity on the walls and ceilings. It can be pretty disorienting at first, but then it's like being on an amusement park ride. Very fun stuff.
I'm quite happy to see a first-person shooter on the horizon that looks as promising as Prey. If you're a FPS fan, you owe it to yourself to check this one out.
